Cracked or damaged screens

• Cracked glass, picture fine: the tablet may still work, but cracks spread and touch can start failing. Cover it with clear tape or a protector until it's repaired.
• Lines, black spots, flickering or no picture: the display panel itself is damaged.
• Touch not responding or ghost touches: usually the digitizer, the touch layer, which is typically replaced along with the glass and display.

Charging port and power issues

Galaxy Tabs use USB-C ports, which collect lint and crumbs, especially in kids' tablets. Before booking a repair:

1. Try a different USB-C cable and a proper wall adapter.
2. Power off and inspect the port with a flashlight.
3. Gently remove debris with a wooden toothpick, never metal.
4. Restart the tablet and check for a moisture warning.

• Buttons that stick or stop responding.
• Speakers and headphone jacks with crackling, low or no sound.
